Proceeding Word

you can not follow a proceeding word by traveling in a receding direction.  God's will for man is that we follow His word and where His word goes, we go too....

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. matt 4:4

The scripture above reveals to us that the word of God proceedeth (goes foward, continues) the word does not retrogress, it is an agent of progress and they that follow it move forward in every facet of their lives.

forward in our businesses and relationships, in our marriages and careers, in our spirit and in our worship, in our faith and in prayer- in every thing we do, forward ever, backward never, as they always say!

If you find yourself stagnant or backsliding, check-out your focus on the word, are you still perfectly consistent?

I ask the average Christian; why do you reduce your prayer hours, why do you reduce your evangelism time, why do you reduce your daily bible study chapters, and expect the vital things in your life to increase.

secondly, the proceeding word never looks to the back, this is why God never relates with our past and sins, because we have been moved on (teleported forward, proceeded) by the word.

The sins of yesterday have no business in the saint of today, we have to move on! bad habits from the old life must stop if indeed we have moved on- all this call for a personal check on our lives.

let us also ask: this proceeding word, where is it proceeding to?

answer is in Isaiah 55 vs 11a -- says --- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, (scripture says "the word" shall not return void, but at least from that we know that "The word" indeed does returns to God, only "He" doesn't return void)

the word is returning to God as soon as "He" is done establishing us in all that "He" was sent. we all also know that after our earthly sojourn our main aim is to return to God.

This implies that the proceeding word is going our way, and is like a train that makes our journey home much easier and in fact possible at all.

Today's word is towards showing us how a personal study-life in the word of God can move us foward in all areas of your life, heal us, establish us and get us back to heaven where we came from safe and intact.

Join the word train, join the universal church, ignite the fire on your personal altar
